Happy Thanksgiving

Just wanted to post a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We will be leaving town tomorrow am and going to Wausau, WI for our annual stay at The Lodge at Cedar Creek to have some fun with the kids at the water park there. We almost didn't go due to the 6 stitches in my thumb! I got a little carried away chopping onions on Friday afternoon. It was off to urgent care for me.
Anyway, then we will be headed to my parents house to celebrate Thanksgiving. We will go to my brother's new house on Wednesday night for dinner. Can't wait to shop on Friday and then get together with the Little Chute gang over the weekend too. Hope everyone has a healthy and Happy Thanksgiving. I am sure that we will have some photos to post after the weekend!

More house photos

Here is the main bath window-- I didn't think anyone would want to see the "you know what".
Here is Miss Brooke on her bed with the morning sun shining in. Yes, she has been wearing her Snow White costume every day since Halloween!

Here is Brooke's new ceiling fan. And below is the Master Bath window above the tub.

Last is the great room looking fromt he family room into the kitchen. It is starting to feel like home.

Riley's Room and the front rooms

Some friends have been asking for more photos of the house so here are a couple. The above and below here are Rileys room. We are working on doing a "fishing theme" in his room so we put up a border and have some fishing pictures up.
This is the front living room.

And the dining room.

Brooke's Haircut

Here is Brooke with her new "do". She got about 4-5 inches cut off of her hair today. Below is a photo right before we left for the salon. She did great and it was so wonderful after her bath tonight to spend 10 seconds combing her hair instead of 10 minutes to get out the tangles. She looks so cute and somehow more grown-up!

Pictures from Aunt Rosie

Eric's Aunt Rosie made these cute pictures for the kids.
She did a great job and the kids love them so I took their
photos and thought I'd share.

First Snow

We woke up to snow this morning. The kids had a blast tromping around in it today. Most of it has melted now. The best part was that the snow didn't stick to the sidewalk or driveway- no shoveling!

Halloween

We are just a little behind on the blog but here are some photos from Halloween. Here are the kids ready to go to our playgroup Halloween party on Wed, Oct. 29th. It was also Brooke's birthday that day so we made cupcakes to share with our friends at Burger King.

Here are the kids with their loot! Riley actually collected more candy but Brooke quickly claimed it by sitting in front of the bigger pile.

Here they re on Halloween night on the front porch right before Trick-or-Treating.

Here is Riley in his Halloween socks (and not much else!). His socks say, "I love my mummy!" and he loves to tell people what they say. I just thought he was so funny that night coming down with just his diaper, socks and the firefighter hat was the finishing touch!

Below, are the kids "helping" Eric carve our pumpking this year. Brooke found a picture in her Princess Halloween book and asked Eric to make that pumpkin. Eric did a great job of replicating it.

That's all for now!
