Grandma Peggy took Brooke shopping the other day and bought Brooke a couple new outfits for school. Here Brooke is posing for a photo in her new clothes. She suddenly seems 16 instead of 4!

Texas Nieces and Nephews

Eric just spent a few days down in Texas so I thought I'd post some cute photos of our niece and nephews. Here is Coral doing the happy dance because Uncle Eric took her swimming at her Grandma's and then to Whataburger.

Hot Houston!

Just finishing up a quick trip down to Houston (Texas) for Noah's Bris. Noah is my brother's second son. His first lil' guy is Max. Temps down here are in the mid to upper 90's. Hot and Humid. I did get two days of running in along with a swim with Coral at her Grandma Ora's house.

Flying back on Tuesday evening and will have 2.5 days of work before the Ragnar Relay that starts on Friday (12 person team running race from Winona to Downtown Minneapolis - 206 miles ~ 26 hours of running!).

Classic Car Show

On Friday night, we went to the Classic Car Show at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake. The kids played a couple games and Brooke won sunglasses and Riley chose a lizard. They had popcorn too. The cars were really fun to look at. My favorite was a'62 white Corvette-- I keep thinking about it! Riley's favorite was Doc Hudson (see below) and Brooke chose the pink one as her fav (of course!).

Real Cupcakes

Today we made real cupcakes and with my supervision, we made a bigger mess than the kids made on thier own! It was fun and yummy though. We made Daddy's favorite flavor, red velvet!
